There's a place for everybody who wants one at New Britain's Hole in the Wall Theater, and lots of people sign up to pitch in. There's a warm, big-family feeling you get when you see a show at the Hole in the Wall. The cozy theater company put on big- and small-name productions; they've put on musical superstars like "Godspell" and heavy dramas like Steinbeck's "Of Mice and Men," but they're also open to works by local playwrights and musicians. Bill Arnold, who's been with HITW for years, is excited about his original July production, "Night of the Musical Dead," which, he promises, "is not at all like 'Thriller.'" Inspired by Night of the Living Dead, Arnold's musical is a playful spin on the classic horror movie, as well as the ideal representation of community-theater quirk and openness that's fun to watch and easy to be a part of.
