From its beginnings in Atlanta the Moe's Southwest Grill franchise was started by entrepreneurs who didn't want to take themselves too seriously. Hence the name of the restaurant's award-winning burrito: the Homewrecker. "You have your choice of protein, chicken, steak, ground beef, pork or even Tofu," says Matt Rusconi, co-owner of the West Hartford Moe's. "Then add rice, black or pinto beans, cheese, pico, lettuce, guacamole, fresh jalapenos, pickled jalapenos. Design it the way you want." Rusconi makes it clear there are no microwaves or freezers in the kitchen at Moe's. He gets produce deliveries every day, and the meat is cooked fresh every day. It's all fresh.
