Antwaine Debnam
age: 31
occupation: Founder, NightlifeAlerts.com
found at: Mickey's Oceanic Grill (East Hartford)

What is your most interesting quality?
I have a keen and quick ability for problem-solving. Also the ability to find patterns in people's behavior. I pick up on people's behaviors and react to them based on a storehouse of patterns.

What book, movie or piece of music has profoundly affected your life?
Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. I took away the message that whatever thoughts you choose to occupy your mind create your reality. Coming to America ignited my imagination to think outside the box and normal living conditions. Being young in America, it made me realize there was a greater world out there where the possibility of an African man being the ruler of a nation was even possible.

If you could talk to one person in heaven, who would it be and why?
George Washington Carver. I would love to talk to his source of inspiration and his methodology for coming up with his inventions.

What is so important to you that, without it, life would not be worth living?
The right to believe and think for yourself. The hope that the belief in my infinite possibilities will make me successful.

Can you forgive someone who has wronged you?
I can forgive. But I can never forget.

What is your proudest achievement in life so far?
Through a lot of trial and error I've learned how to take an idea for a service or a product and have it materialize. ... Most people have ideas. I've been lucky to find the resources to see them come to fruition.

What are the thoughts that keep you awake at night?
My mind is constantly racing with problem solving. I'm almost obsessively compulsive in my need to solve problems. Another is I enjoy watching news programs and observe the blunders people make in interviews. I'll ponder how they may have answered a question better or how they could have made a more articulate argument.
