Peeps With Guns
On March 1 around 12: 15 p.m., the East Central Narcotics Unit and Manchester cops in collaboration with the Capitol Emergency Services Team pulled a blitz at 89 Union St. in Manchester, where they served a warrant for Michael Reed, 37, Lisandra Ayala, 34, and 27-year-old Terry Phillip. According to Manchester police, they reportedly found a cluster of dangerous weapons, like a loaded .40 caliber Wather handgun, stag arms, an AR-15 rifle, an H&K .45 caliber USC rifle, ballistic body armor, ammunition, cocaine, weed, drug packaging, and a stolen 52-inch LCD television. Reed and Ayala both are facing serious charges of possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia by a school, larceny in the third, criminal possession of a pistol by a convicted felon, possession of body armor and unsafe storage of firearms with respect to minors. Phillip only got slapped with the weed charge. Question is, what the heck were they trying to blow up?

Ouch
On Feb. 28, Bobby McGauley, 27, caught a breach of peace charge when he allegedly damaged a friend's car and "cut another's head," according to Manchester cops.

Dog House
Fifty-four-year-old machinist Steve Shannon went to his Manchester home on the 27th of February to his house, which he shares with his mother and brother where he proceeded to take down their doghouse. He reportedly went and tore down the dog's house and threatened to get rid of the dog.

Mason-Masturbator
Anthony Morin, a 32-year-old mason, was allegedly caught whacking off in his truck while following a female on Feb. 26. The mason-masturbator was reportedly following someone to Charter Oak in Manchester. A person allegedly called the cops and they caught him red-handed. He was arrested on charges of public indecency and possession of marijuana.

Hide the Heroin
West Hartford cops found seven, count 'em, seven bags of heroin gently tucked away between the butt cheeks of some dude. On Feb. 26, Randy Levesque, 25, was pulled over for not having a light illuminating his rear plate, and after that police found the heroin. Twenty-seven-year-old Matthew Brague also allegedly had three baggies of heroin on him, and was in Levesque's passenger seat that night. According to cops, Crystal Braque, 22, was also arrested for illegal possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia, along with the other two dudes.

Wrong Way, Dude
Nineteen-year-old Jeffrey Thomansian got a DUI charge on March 1 when he was stopped for allegedly driving against traffic in Willimantic.

Fronting
In Willimantic, James Hernandez-Medina, 29, tried to impersonate a person of the law on Feb. 26. Hernandez-Medina was arrested for criminal impersonation.

Sex Offender ID
Sex offenders: Stand up and make your creepy selves known to the public. Julian Echeverria was arrested in Newington, according to West Hartford cops for having an "outstanding valid arrest warrant on his head for failing to register as a sex offender." The 44-year-old's charges were found to be harassment in the second when he was arrested on Feb. 28.

Take Down the Pole
Lisa Ann Frazier, 35, allegedly drove on the wrong side of the lane and mowed down a West Hartford utility pole on Feb. 27. She was reportedly deemed drunk by cops and was given charges of driving in the right-hand lane and operating her car while drunk.

Eject, Eject!
On the 26th of February, Hector Rosado, who is 34, managed to grab seven charges in one shot: assault in the third, breach of peace, kidnapping, reckless driving, reckless endangerment, threatening and unlawful restraint when, according to West Hartford cops, his girlfriend was seen trying to jump out of his moving vehicle. The accused was reportedly observed holding her against her will in his car as she was trying to eject herself from the vehicle.

Citizens Arrest!
In this economy, consumers won't stand for someone else getting a better bargain. Or maybe the group of customers at Lowe's who helped apprehend a would-be thief on Feb. 26 were just doing their civic duty. According to South Windsor police, at about 9 a.m. a security officer noticed a man walking out the exit with two nail gun sets (total value around $675). The female officer requested proof of purchase from the man, who refused and continued to walk out of the store, becoming belligerent as the guard attempted to detain him, at which point costumers blocked the suspect's exit and called police. Brian Fitzpatrick, 37, of Waterbury, was charged with fourth-degree larceny.
